This Module is an introductory module to learn about apprenticeship programmes. It is important to have a clear idea of what apprenticeship means, and the benefits that it can bring to both the companies and the students. This Module will also share forms of apprenticeship found across Europe, address the different entities involved in the process and their roles, and provide success stories.
Learning Objectives:
– To provide a basic understanding about apprenticeship to the reader.
– To establish a foundation for the rest of the Modules.
Learning Results: To be able to define apprenticeship and comprehend the various forms it can take; to be able to identify key actors involved in the process; to understand the utility of this form of education; and to have background knowledge of successful cases.
